What type of surfaces can be resurfaced?

Can’t I buy a new bathtub for around $400.00? Or have a liner installed?

True, you can buy a new cheap fiberglass tub for around $300. After you factor in the cost of labor, removal, installation and plumbing work the replacement can quickly become much more expensive.

Tub liners are very expensive and only mask the problem. Liners also have problems with mold growing between the liner and the old tub.I am text block. Click edit button to change this text.

How long does the average resurfacing job take?

Most jobs are completed in less than 1 day. For instance, a bathtub, a kitchen countertop, or a shower depending on the condition will take between 3 and 8 hours.

What about chips, holes or scratches can you repair those?

Yes, we can repair small chips and scratches at no additional charge. If there are large holes, or multiple chips and scratches, an additional small fee would be charged based on the damage.

Is there an odor involved with the resurfacing process?

Yes, there is a small odor involved in the process. It would be similar to fingernail polish, or household paint. Most of the odor is gone by the time the job is complete, but if not, the rest will dissipate completely overnight.

What colors are available?

We can resurface in almost any color. Our most popular are showcased on our website for your convenience.

How long will the new finish last?

With proper care and cleaning, the average homeowner can expect the finish to last a minimum of 10 years. Just the original finish, it should not be used as a hotplate or cutting board. If it is not properly cared for, or is abused, it will dull and can damage over time.

How long after resurfacing can I use it?

You can use your bathtub 24 hours after the resurfacing is complete. Most countertops and vanity’s are able to be fully used after 72 hours.

Absolutely not! Your new surface will be just as durable if not more so than the original.

What is the guarantee?

Our industry standard, which is a 5 year limited warranty for homeowners and a 1 year limited warranty for rental properties.

What should I use to clean the refinished surface?

You should only clean your new fixtures with non abrasive cleaners and soaps. A soft sponge with a mild cleanser will work best. You could use products such as dish soap, Lysol, 409, and magic erasers. You will want to avoid, SOS pads, Scotchbrite and abrasive cleaners such as Ajax, Comet, and Bleach.

What do I (the customer) need to do before you arrive?

Depending on the service that you are having done, there may be a few things you can do prior to our arrival.
• It is important that there are no leaking faucets in a bathtub, or it could compromise the finish. Also, make sure all loose items are removed from the bathtub, shelves, and counters.
• All countertops should be structurally sound. There should be no movement of the surface. In addition, make sure that all items are cleared off and there isn’t a lot of dust in the room or on the ceiling as it could fall into the new surface.
